Complain about a Solicitor

Complain about a Solicitor

Solicitors must follow the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Code of Conduct.

You can complain if you are not satisfied with issues such as:

  • How your Solicitor has handled your case ( this could include the time it has taken or the quality of their work)
  • The cost of their services

Here is a link to the Law Society Website which explains how to make a complaint and the steps you need to take:

Alternatively you can contact The Legal Ombudsman by calling 0300 555 0333 or email them at: enquiries@legalombudsman.org.uk
